The story of Prophet Ayyub (as) shows us how he was blessed with success in life, but suddenly everything was taken away, including his children, wealth, and health. People who trusted him started to doubt him, except for a few loyal ones, including his wife. Despite his illness, which lasted for an unknown amount of time, he remained patient. When we face tragedy, we can experience different emotions, such as denial, anger, depression, bargaining, and acceptance. However, it’s important to remember that life is full of tests, and we should mentally prepare ourselves to handle whatever comes our way. This means having hope for the best, but also being prepared for the worst. When something bad happens, we need to accept it and not be afraid. Prophet Ayyub’s story teaches us to pray, be patient, and keep our faith in Allah (swt). He didn’t feel sorry for himself or have a negative attitude, but instead, he acknowledged his suffering without complaining or questioning Allah’s plan. His words showed that he had faith in Allah’s mercy to heal all problems.
